4 days from Tangier to Marrakech

Day 1 : Tangier – Chefchaouen – Fez

We will drive through the Rif Highlands and the city of Tetouan, admiring the views of the beautiful mountains of Morocco until we reach Chefchaouen.

The highlight of the day and one of the most beautiful settlements at the foot of the Rif Mountains. Explore the Medina of Chefchaouen, which has become one of the prettiest cities to visit in Morocco, with its blue hue and numerous unique craft boutiques, rooftop restaurants and cafes.

We invite you to have lunch at a local restaurant after seeing the picturesque city of Chefchaouen for a few hours. After that, we will drive for 4 hours through the Rif Mountains and farmlands to Fes. Fez by night

Day 2 : Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Sahara Desert

EnglishWe will pick you up at your Riad/hotel in the Medina of Fez and drive you south through the highlands of the Middle Atlas to Ifrane and Azrou. We will stop at cedars along the journey to observe Barbary apes in their natural environment.

Later, we will continue to Midelt via the Tizi N-Talghamt pass and the spectacular Ziz Gorges created by volcanic rock. Upon arrival in Errachidia, take in the panorama of the Middle Atlas plateau, which changes to offer indications of the desert.

After lunch, we will drive through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud, Rissani and the Merzouga Desert. We will start the camel ride to your luxury tent in the middle of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes before dusk, after a glass of mint tea. Where you will spend the night in a LUXURIOUS DESERT CAMP under the starry Sahara sky.

Day 3 : Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades

If you wake up early, you will be able to enjoy a magnificent sunrise in the dunes. Then, you will take a camel ride before starting to drive to the town of Tinghir and then to the Todra Gorges, one of the most famous canyons in Morocco, where you will be provided with a ride with the opportunity to visit a nomadic family living in a cave. At the end of the day, we will arrive at the Dades Valley, one of the most beautiful valleys in southern Morocco, where we will spend the night.

Day 4 : Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountain – Marrakech

In the morning, we will continue our journey to Ouarzazate along the route of the thousand kasbahs (fortresses), stopping at Kalaat Mgouna, the heart of the Valley of the Roses, known for its annual Rose Festival.

We will continue to the Unesco World Heritage Site, the Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, after some photos in Ouarzazate. The place is known for having served as a filming location for Hollywood movies such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator and the popular HBO series Game of Thrones.

Next, we will drive over the Tizi-n-Tichka mountain pass (2260 meters high) to Marrakech, where our four-day holiday from Tangier will end.
