This 3-day desert tour from Marrakech to Erg Chegaga dunes is an exciting trip for travelers. After setting off, you will visit several beautiful places and the kasbahs between these places to Erg Chigaga desert, and spend a night in the desert camp.
Day 1 : Marrakech - Tichka - Ait Ben Haddou - Agdez - Zagora
After pick-up from your hotel or Riad in Marrakech, we will leave early in the morning on a 4x4 tour towards the desert. We will cross the Tizi n Tichka pass, then visit the Kasbah of Telouet before descending towards the magnificent Ounila valley where we will stop to visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. After the Tizi n'Tinifift pass we will cross the Draa valley passing through magnificent oases, palm trees and ksours. Night and dinner in Zagora.
Day 2 : Zagora - M'hamid - Erg Chegaga
After a short visit to the famous Koranic library of Tamegroute and the pottery workshops, we will continue our excursion towards M'hamid el Ghizlane crossing magnificent landscapes of sand and desert vegetation. Upon arrival in Chegaga, we will head straight to a magnificent bivouac camp set up in the heart of the dunes. You will have the opportunity to take part in a camel ride in the dunes or take a short hike to admire the extraordinary landscapes of the dunes and the desert... Dinner and night in a bivouac.
Day 3 : Erg Chegaga- Foum Zguid - Marrakech
After breakfast, we will leave for the foothills of the Anti Atlas, crossing the immense plateau of LAKE IRIKI, Foum Zguid, Taznakht and Wawzguit or the capital of Berber carpets and saffron. We will also pass through Amerzegane to reach the Tizi N'Tichka pass on our way back to Marrakech.
