Day 1 : Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Dades Valley

Day 2 : Dades Valley - Merzouga Desert

EnglishAfter breakfast in Boumalene Dades, we set off on the next stage of our journey. We will drive through the charming Berber village of Tinghir, marveling at the imposing Todra Gorge, with its towering canyons dominating the horizon. Continuing our route, we will pass through several towns and stop for lunch in Tinjdad or Rissani, located in the Tafilalet region, famous for its delicious Berber pizza. After lunch, we will head to Merzouga, where our camel trek begins. After a refreshing tea break and safe storage of your belongings at the hotel, a 90-minute camel ride will take us to a nomadic camp nestled amidst the stunning Erg Chebbi sand dunes, the highest in North Africa. The camp consists of comfortable tents equipped with mattresses and bedding, a restaurant, kitchen and bathrooms. As evening falls, savor a delicious dinner while being entertained by local artists around the campfire.

Day 3 : Erg Chebbi Desert - Fez

Get ready for an early wake-up to witness the mesmerizing spectacle of sunrise. After returning to your hotel on camelback, enjoy a rejuvenating shower and a hearty breakfast. We bid farewell to Erg Chebbi and head north as we pass through the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas Mountains en route to Fes. Throughout our journey, we will make frequent stops to appreciate the rugged mountains and vast plains. Our stop in Azrou treats us to an encounter with the indigenous North African monkeys in the picturesque cedar forest. Finally, we arrive in Fez, where you can check into your riad and relax.

Day 4 : Fez - Chefchaouen the blue city

Our day begins with a scenic drive through the captivating Rif Mountains, taking us to the legendary city of Chefchaouen. Known for its distinctive blue-painted buildings nestled among the mountains, Chefchaouen offers a simple yet captivating charm. Spend the afternoon exploring the charming medina, where cobblestone streets and blue facades create a picturesque setting. Capture unforgettable photographs with the majestic mountains as your backdrop. Retire for the night in a comfortable riad.

Day 5 : From Chefchaouen to Fez

After a delicious breakfast at your riad, we embark on the final leg of our journey. Our route takes us to Volubilis, a captivating archaeological site that preserves the ruins of an ancient Roman settlement, showcasing a fascinating chapter of Moroccan history. From there, we continue our tour through the scenic landscapes, passing through Wazan and other charming Rif villages. Our next destination is Meknes, a 17th-century imperial city, where we explore the historical grandeur of the medina and the iconic Bab el Mansour. Finally, we conclude our tour in Fez, or we can arrange to end it in any other city of your preference.
